Former British Olympic Association chairman Sir Craig Reedie has been appointed to a watchdog body to oversee future bids for the Olympic Games. Reedie will succeed Chiharu Igaya on the ethics commission of the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
Igaya has stepped down due to his involvement in Tokyo's 2016 Games bid.
Scotsman Reedie is one of three British IOC members, alongside Princess Anne and International Paralympic Committee President Sir Phil Craven.
