One of next year's four World Cup events will be held in England. The event, which will take place in Dover in the first week of August, also doubles up as the third and final leg of the European Grand Prix series.
"It's fantastic news," said Lynne Evans, chairman of GNAS, archery's governing body in the United Kingdom.
"There are also implications for the London Olympics in that we will be able to show how capable we are of staging a major international event in Britain."
