The latest instalment in football's "Battle of Britain" hogs Tuesday's back pages.

It may not be Bonfire Night until tomorrow, but judging by the headlines there will be plenty of fireworks as Manchester United and Glasgow Rangers do battle at Old Trafford.

The Champions League encounter has certainly sparked a few verbal whizz-bangs from United boss Sir Alex Ferguson.

"Ferguson orders his players to get stuck in against Rangers." says the Daily Express.

Fergie's main weapon appears to be Roy Keane, who is being let slip like the proverbial dog of war to, as the Daily Star puts it, "Bite 'em".

Once the Irishman enforcer has done the business against the 'Gers, his manager may well turn him loose on Dick Advocaat.

The Sun reports Ferguson is furious with the Holland boss for dropping striker Ruud van Nistelrooy, blaming his striker's scoring slump on the spat.

At least Van Nistelrooy's lack of goals may dissuade Real Madrid from adding him to their gallery of Galacticos.

The Daily Mail claims Manchester United are close to agreeing a new contract with the player as they bid to ward off any interest from the Spanish giants.

Away from football, the main interest lies in England lock Danny Grewcock's broken hand, and the "fainting fit" that has put Britain's Richard Burns out of the GB Rally.

And the Daily Telegraph reports on Frank Bruno's return to the public eye, with a picture of him leading out England's amateur boxers for their match against the USA.
