The back pages
Two contrasting photos from Saturday's Premiership action dominate Sunday's back pages.

The first is of a happy Hernan Crespo, celebrating his first goals for new club Chelsea in their 5-0 away thrashing of Wolves.

The second is of a glum Glenn Hoddle, watching his Tottenham side slump to a home defeat against his old club Southampton.

All of the papers speculate on Hoddle's future at White Hart Lane although if the Sunday Mirror is to be believed, his fate had already been decided before Saturday's defeat.

It says that the sacking will be confirmed when chairman Daniel Levy returns from holiday at the end of the week and adds that Celtic manager Martin O'Neill is the man Spurs want to take over.

The papers purr over another scintillating display from Chelsea's all-star team, although being top of the Premiership does not seem to mean that manager Claudio Ranieri's job is secure.

The Observer predicts that Sven-Goran Eriksson will take over at Stamford Bridge after Euro 2004 when a break clause in his contract takes effect.

But it seems Sven's partner Nancy Dell'Olio may have other plans for him, telling the Sunday Times that she and the Swede could be the new John and Yoko.

"They did a good job of promoting peace. It would be fantastic for me and Sven to also do that as a couple," she says.
