Day three of England's second Test against South Africa and David Beckham's Real Madrid debut are the focus of Sunday's papers.
South Africa compiled a record total of 682-6, eclipsing their previous Test best of 622, set against Australia in Durban, to leave England staring at a humiliating loss at Lord's.
And when skipper Graeme Smith finally declared with a 509 first innings lead, his bowlers answered the call teasing out the wickets of England openers Michael Vaughan and Marcus Trescothick.

"More improbable deeds have been performed in cricket, but not many," is The Independent's verdict.
The Observer, meanwhile, demands change.
"Will Nasser Hussain, not temperamentally suited to the happy-clappy brand of leadership that was supposed to be Vaughan's, call it a day?," asks Vic Marks.
"Will Darren Gough, patently no longer a force over five days, recognise that reality and retire gracefully, or wait to be pushed?"
Simon Wilde of The Sunday Times lays the blame for England's dismal showing this week firmly with Nasser Hussain.
"What seemed like a good idea on Monday already seems to have been carried out with indecent haste," writes Wilde.
"Hussain's hotheaded decision to give up the captaincy has precipitated a crisis in the England team.
"Anyone who thinks Hussain's recent behaviour is rational must think again."
The tabloids predictably lead on David Beckham's long-awaited debut for Real Madrid in Beijing.
Beckham impressed in a 75 minute display in front of an 80,000 crowd in China as Real thrashed a Chinese Dragons Select XI 4-0.
'Real hail new star', 'You're a Real star Becks' and 'Beckham's the Real thing' are just a selection of the gushing headlines in honour of the England captain.
In other football news, the Sunday Mirror claims Arsenal and Tottenham are considering ground-sharing at the new Wembley Stadium.
But Premiership chairman - led by Chelsea's Ken Bates and Newcastle's Freddie Shepherd - are furious at the proposal.
The Daily Star, meanwhile, reports that Patrick Vieira's has yet again delayed signing a new contract with Arsenal.
