The back pages acclaim the impressive starts made by Manchester United and Chelsea in the Champions League last night.
United demolished Greek side Panathinaikos 5-0 at Old Trafford, while the Blues won 1-0 away at Sparta Prague.
"The Premiership's big guns started in explosive form last night," writes Neil Moxley in the Daily Mail, under the banner headline "What a start!"
The Daily Mirror says United "sent an ominous message to the rest of Europe", not least because they achieved their success with a "reserve" side - a thought that might interest Rio Ferdinand, Ryan Giggs and Ruud van Nistelrooy, who all took part in the game.
United's performance certainly set an impressive standard for Premiership rivals Arsenal, who take on Inter Milan in a tantalising contest at Highbury tonight.

Former Gunners full-back Lee Dixon tells The Star that time is running out for the current Arsenal crop to lift the Champions League.
Dixon believes the age of Arsene Wenger's squad means this could be their last chance to win European football's greatest prize.
The Guardian looks ahead to tonight's other Champions League match involving a British team - the contest between Celtic and Bayern Munich at the Olympic Stadium.
Graham Clark writes that a row between Bayern's Oliver Kahn and Owen Hargreaves could boost Celtic.
German keeper Kahn apparently criticised Hargreaves for lacking defensive discipline and the England midfielder was none too impressed.
The Sun, which yesterday had the "exclusive" news that an airport cleaner asked some Chelsea players to move on so he could get on with his job, today leads with news that Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand might like to play in Spain one day.
"To be honest, I'd prefer Spain to Italy," says the England centre half.
