Tickets for the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens will go on sale to the general public on 12 May.
Residents from the 15 EU countries, as well as Switzerland, Norway and Liechtenstein, will be able to request tickets via the official website until 12 June.
Residents of non-EU countries can book tickets through their national Olympic committees.
Organisers, who expect to make 183m euros from ticket receipts, have already raised 60m euros from the sale of tickets to national Olympic committees, broadcast rights owners and sponsors.
Any tickets left unsold after the 12 June closing date will be made available in October.
