He is only member of the original 25-man party to be axed, although Lazio midfielder Mourad Meghni misses out because of injury. Sadaane had five reserve players on standby, but none is required to make the trip. The squad list includes nine players who have switched their allegiance to the north African country after previously being capped at junior level by France. There are only three home based players and none from newly crowned league champions Mouloudia Alger. They were beaten 3-0 by the Republic of Ireland in their first warm-up match for the World Cup. They have one more game remaining before travelling to South Africa, against United Arab Emirates in Nuremberg on 5 June. The Desert Foxes were the final team to qualify for South Africa 2010, after needing a play-off game against their North African rivals Egypt to go through.
