Vukic joined Portsmouth from Shakhtar Donetsk in August |
Serbia and Montenegro's Zvonimir Vukic returned to action to boost his hopes of taking part in the World Cup. The Partizan Belgrade midfielder came off the bench in the 2-0 win at Obilic and played for 20 minutes.
The 26-year-old, who started the season at Portsmouth before joining Partizan on loan, has been out for three months.
He sustained a fracture in his foot in a friendly during the winter break and his return will be welcomed by national coach Ilija Petkovic
Vukic was one of the team's key players on the road to Germany and his return to full fitness would be a major boost with Galatasaray's Sasa Ilic figuring as the only present cover in the attacking midfield department.
Serbia and Montenegro open their group C campaign against Holland on 11 June before they meet Argentina and Ivory Coast.
