Saudi Arabia coach Marcos Paqueta was delighted his team left the World Cup on a high despite defeat to Spain. The 1-0 loss meant Paqueta's side ended bottom of Group H with a solitary point from their draw against Tunisia.
Brazilian Paqueta said: "We're going to leave with a nice impression. It was a nice experience to test ourselves against high level opposition.
"We fought hard and made them hang on in the second half. Spain played their reserves but were greatly experienced."
Paqueta was pleased to see his side carve open some opportunities late in the game.
"We were much calmer and came up with a strategy to deal with them and in the last 20 minutes we made some good chances," he added.
