Former England managerial candidate Luis Felipe Scolari's Portugal team had a morale-boosting victory over Luxembourg on Saturday. They struggled, though, in a goalless first half at the Stade St Symphorein in Metz, France.
But after the interval, the produced a far more fluent game plan, with Simao Sabrosa scoring twice, with one coming from the penalty spot.
Veteran midfielder Luis Figo also got his name on the score sheet.
