 Bravo celebrates scoring |
Mexico warmed up for the World Cup with a comfortable 1-0 win over Venezuela at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. The winner came from Omar Bravo who slotted from the spot after 58 minutes.
Bravo stepped up after fellow striker Jesus Arellano had been brought down as he ran on to a well-timed pass from midfielder Antonio Naelson.
Venezuela struggled to make much of an impact and were denied an equaliser when Mexico goalkeeper Oswaldo Sanchez superbly saved from Jesus Gomez.
