as the tournament hosts came through a 70-minute match behind closed doors.
Jurgen Klinsmann used 18 of his 23-man World Cup squad - with Arsenal keeper Jens Lehmann among the absentees.
Germany have three official warm-up games, against Luxembourg, Japan and Colombia, before the tournament.
