Croatia coach Zlatko Krancjar put on a brave face after his side lost their opening game of the World Cup 1-0 to defending champions Brazil. Brazil's goal came from Kaka in the first half, but Croatia came close with efforts from Dado Prso, Marko Babic and Ivan Klasnic.
"Brazil made a goal from just the one chance. This defeat won't stop us from going further," said Krancjar.
"But they have fantastic players in their side with the likes of Kaka."
The Croatia coach in hopeful his captain Niko Kovac will be fit for their remaining World Cup games, having gone off during the game with bruised ribs.
"He received a blow on the ribs and after the examination we will see whether he can play but we hope it's not going to keep him out of the other matches," added Kranjcar.
