Vienna, Austria Ivan Klasnic gave Croatia the lead - for the second warm-up game in succession - and after Andreas Ivanschitz levelled for Austria, Klasnic scored again to make it 2-1 at the break. Marko Babic and Bosko Balaban added second-half goals for Croatia. 28 May 2006

A second half header from Ebi Smolarek secured victory for a stubborn Poland in their final warm-up game against a Croatia side who failed to create clearcut chances despite their superior possesion. 7 June 2006
Spain 2-1 Croatia
Geneva, Switzerland Spain needed a last gasp goal from Fernando Torres to beat fellow World Cup finalists Croatia, who had taken the lead through Pablo's own goal, before debutant Mariano Perni equalised just past the hour.
