Mexican referee Marco Rodriguez will take charge of England's opening World Cup Group B match against Paraguay in Frankfurt on 10 June. Argentina's Horacio Elizondo will referee the opening match of the tournament between hosts Germany and Costa Rica in Munich the day before. English referee Graham Poll has been handed the Group G game between South Korea and Togo as his first match. England's Philip Sharp and Glenn Turner will be running the lines for Poll.
