Ukraine sealed a comfortable victory over fellow World Cup hopefuls Costa Rica in a friendly in Kiev on Sunday. Serhiy Nazarenko put the hosts ahead in the 29th minute when he tapped home from close-range.
And further goals followed from Andriy Vorobei (39), Maxim Kalinichenko (40) and Olexiy Belik (55).
Striker Andriy Shevchenko missed the game with a knee injury but aims to be fit for Ukraine's opening Group H match in Germany against Spain on 14 June.
