 Poll has been named on Fifa's list of 23 officials |
Premiership referee Graham Poll will be the British representative at this summer's World Cup in Germany. The 42-year-old Tring official has been named on a list of 23 referees who will take charge of matches.
They were chosen from the original list of 44 prospective officials whose performances were evaluated by Fifa officials over the past 18 months.
They were also observed at two Fifa workshops and Europe will have the largest contingent of 10 in Germany.
They include France's Eric Poulat, German Markus Merk, Spaniard Enrique Mejuto Gonzalez, Massimo De Santis of Italy and Poll.
