Welsh-born Jane Ludlow celebrates winning the Cup

Welsh-born Jane Ludlow is ready for more success after Arsenal Ladies beat Sunderland to lift their 10th FA Cup.

If Arsenal beat Everton on Sunday they will also seal the league championship to give manager Vic Akers the treble and his 31st title in 22 years.

"We have got a big game against Everton on Sunday which is a league decider," said Ludlow from Blaenrhondda.

"We have got to win the game to overtake Everton at the top. We can't wait for the game on Sunday."

It was Ludlow's sixth FA Cup title but revealed more hunger for silverware.

"As a club we want to win everything we enter. Lucky for us it works out more than not," she said.

"It's an exciting end to the season for us this year."

Ludlow is not Arsenal's only Welsh connection. The club have recently signed Helen Lander.

"Helen has done well since she joined us a couple of months ago and hopefully she will go from strength to strength," added Ludlow.
