Everton Ladies will begin the defence of their FA Tesco Women's Premier League Cup at home to Birmingham City.

The two National Division sides will meet at Marine's Rossett Park on Merseyside on 14 September.

An Amy Kane strike gave the Blues a 1-0 win over Arsenal in February to lift the trophy, which was their first silverware for 10 years.

Elsewhere, Liverpool travel to newly-promoted Nottingham Forest and Tranmere entertain Doncaster Belles.
