USA v England Tianjin Olympic Center Stadium Saturday, 22 September Kick-off: 1300 BST Live on BBC ONE/online from 1250 BST, Commentary on Radio 5live.
Smith made her England debut aged 16
England star Kelly Smith is looking forward to a "finger-licking" Women's World Cup quarter-final against America, the country where she made her name.
The USA's victory over Nigeria on Tuesday meant they topped their group and will face England in Tianjin on Saturday for a place in the last four.
Smith is a hugely respected figure in American soccer circles having being one of the most successful players.
She was also captain of Philadelphia Charge in the professional WUSA league before it was disbanded in 2003.
The 28 year-old striker is similarly respectful of an American team which sits top of the world rankings and are joint favourites with holders Germany to win the World Cup.
Smith said: "When I was in the USA, I played with (goalkeeper) Hope Solo at Philadelphia Charge and I also played against a lot of the other American team members in the WUSA, so I'm very familiar with them.
"It's going to be a real challenge and a finger-licking tie. America will be huge favourites and we'll be the underdogs, but we'll thrive on that and I think it will be a very entertaining game.
"I don't think there's much between the two teams. We've got a lot of skilful players, we create a lot going forward and I rate our defence very highly - they've been outstanding for us at this tournament.
Whoever we play against I'm always looking to score goals

"The USA have got a strong back line too, and they've got a lot of tournament experience. They're used to winning, which obviously helps them, and they've got great players like Kristine Lilly and Abby Wambach, who scores goals for fun.
"But we've had a lot of important tournament experience ourselves in the last couple of years - we've played in the Algarve Cup, the European Championships and then the China Cup before coming into the World Cup."
Competing at the China Cup in January gave England a big confidence boost ahead of the World finals in the same country.
They drew with both America and Germany, ending a long sequence of defeats in each case - six in succession by the USA and 15 in a row by the Germans.
"Our team took a lot of belief out of the China Cup," said Smith, "and obviously taking a point off Germany in this tournament has added to the belief."
Smith's self-belief has been lifted by hitting four goals in the tournament to date, putting her level with Germany's Birgit Prinz and Marta of Brazil in the race for the Golden Boot award.
"Winning the Golden Boot sounds nice and you never know, it could happen," she said.
"Whoever we play against I'm always looking to score goals - but my main focus on Saturday will be on helping England get into the semi-final."
