Australia broke their Women's World Cup finals duck with a 4-1 win over Ghana. Sarah Walsh punished slack Ghana defending by firing Australia ahead, and Walsh provided the cross for Lisa De Vanna to double the lead.
Heather Garriock headed a third, before Anita Amankwa atoned for two first-half misses by pulling one back for Ghana.
De Vanna cashed in on error from Ghana keeper Memunato Sulemana to seal Australia's first win in their fourth World Cup finals appearance.
