 Smith has scored 18 international goals for England |
England striker Kelly Smith has made the shortlist for the 2006 Fifa Women's World Player of the Year award. The 27-year-old has netted 18 goals in 52 appearances for England, including a hat-trick against Holland in August's World Cup qualifier at Charlton.
Smith also played in the 1-1 draw in France which secured England's place at the 2007 World Cup in China.
The winners will be announced at the 16th Fifa World Player Gala at the Zurich Opera House on 18 December.
