York City captain Manny Panther has agreed a new 12-month deal to stay at KitKat Crescent. "We achieved great things last season and I want to progress further and try to gain promotion to the Football League," Panther told City's website.
The 23-year-old midfielder has started 83 games for York since joining the club from Brechin City in August 2005.
Meanwhile, City boss Billy McEwan is set to make Northwich striker Paul Brayson, 29, his first summer signing.
