York boss Billy McEwan has praised the club's board after turning down the latest offer for striker Clayton Donaldson from Scunthorpe. McEwan told the York Press: "My board have been great, they want to keep him until the end of the season and hopefully beyond that."
The York boss thought his side had done enough to take all three points from Tuesday night's 1-1 draw at Halifax.
He said: "We got a point but we're disappointed we've not got three."
