Midfielder Philip Turnbull has completed his move to York following his release from Hartlepool at the end of last season. The 20-year-old was part of Pools youth team squad before forcing his way into the reserves.
He made one appearance for Hartlepool's first-team when he played at right-back during the Johnstone's Paint Trophy win against Rotherham last season.
Turnbull will link up with ex-Pools man Darren Craddock who is also at York.
