Craig Alcock scored his only goal for Yeovil against Swindon in December

Yeovil have handed a new two-year contract to full-back Craig Alcock.

The 21-year-old, who has come through the clubs youth ranks, made his debut under former manager Russell Slade at the end of the 2006/07 season.

And he has enjoyed a run in the side this term, making 25 league starts to take his overall tally for the Glovers to 49 games with 36 starts.

Alcock won the club's Young Player of the Year Award this season and the Cary Glovers Player of the Year trophy.
