Crystal Palace midfielder James Dayton has joined League One side Yeovil Town on loan.

The 20-year-old, who has never made an appearance in the Palace first team, has joined the Glovers for one month.

He will go straight into the Yeovil squad for Tuesday's second round Carling Cup tie against Middlesbrough at the Riverside.

Dayton signed full-time professional terms with Palace in 2007, but missed most of last season through injury.
