Yeovil chief fears duo may depart

Chief executive Martyn Starnes has admitted Yeovil Town could lose both goalkeeper Steve Mildenhall and striker Marcus Stewart this summer.

The out-of-contract duo have been offered new deals but Starnes knows other clubs are trying to tempt them away from Huish Park.

"We have made offers to the players but they are probably considering other opportunities as well," said Starnes.

"No decisions have been made and I would say it was 50-50 at this stage."

Stewart picked up a string of player of the year awards last month after an impressive season for the Glovers.

Mildenhall endured an injury-disrupted campaign but has been the club's first choice goalkeeper since joining from Grimsby Town two years ago.
