Yeovil Town have terminated the contract of striker Lee Morris by mutual consent. The 27-year-old has failed to recover from a second cruciate ligament rupture, sustained in August 2007.
The popular forward joined the Glovers in August 2006 and scored six goals in 40 appearances for the club.
Manager Russell Slade said: "I'm really gutted for Lee because ever since our days together at Sheffield United he has been plagued by injuries."

Speaking to the club website, Slade added: "His time at Yeovil has been a tribute to his determination not to give in and he certainly had some good times for us during those 40 games at Huish Park.
"It was a great goal he scored at Nottingham Forest in the play-off semi-final and I shall miss having him around. I wish him all the best for his future."
