Yeovil goalkeeper Scott Flinders said he wants to prolong his stay after recording his second clean sheet in four games against Gillingham. The 21-year-old arrived from Crystal Palace on loan mid-February after Steve Mildenhall had been ruled out for six weeks through injury.
Flinders told BBC Somerset: "I want to play as many games as possible.
"I am taking it game by game. I will speak to the manager when it [the loan deal] expires."
The young keeper played 10 games on loan at Gillingham last season and was pleased to keep his former club out in Saturday's goalless draw at Priestfield.
"It is always good to go back to your former club and it was a well-fought draw," he said. "The back lads dug in really well and we are pleased with a point."
Flinders gave credit to his team-mates for staying calm after young substitute Stephen Maher was sent off for a tackle which saw Gillingham's Simon King leave the field on a stretcher on 78 minutes.
"All over the park they did so well to hang on to that 0-0 draw. We have been disappointing over the last couple of games, so it is nice to come away with a clean sheet."
