Akinfenwa has treatment at Yeovil
Adebayo Akinfenwa
Akinfenwa has been without a club since leaving Swansea
Yeovil have revealed that free agent striker Adebayo Akinfenwa is being treated by Glovers physio Jim Joyce.

He has not played since he broke his tibia in February, and has been without a club since leaving Swansea in June when he rejected a new contract.

The 25-year-old then looked set to join Swindon in July, but the Robins called off the move on medical advice.

"He is around six weeks away from joining in with any proper training sessions," Joyce told Yeovil's website.

"He is due to travel to Lilleshall for further treatment and rehabilitation."

Swindon boss Paul Sturrock had said after Akinfenwa's second medical examination at Swindon that he might not be able to play until November.

The player claimed he did not feel "appreciated" at Swansea when turning down their offer of a one-year deal.
