Yeovil have released seven players following their play-off final defeat by Blackpool, including long-serving Yeovil-born defender Andy Lindegaard. Also leaving are Anthony Tonkin, Gavin McCallum, Danny Barker, Jake Smeeton, Brad Thomas and Danny Webb.
"Lindy has been a model professional and a great servant," Glovers boss Russell Slade told the club website.
"But after being at the club for eight years, I think a fresh challenge will be good for him."
Meanwhile, on-loan Martin Brittain has returned to his parent club Ipswich.
