Wycombe Wanderers winger Matt Phillips has signed a one-year extension to his contract, keeping him at Adams Park until June 2011.

Wycombe boss Peter Taylor told the club website: "I'm delighted that Matt has extended his stay with the club.

"He made 21 appearances last season and impressed me a lot, but I'm expecting more from him next season. He deserves the new deal."

Meanwhile, the club are holding a shareholders meeting this evening.

Managing director Steve Hayes has offered to write off a portion of the club's debt, in return for becoming majority shareholder.

Shareholders will be asked to vote on his offer at the meeting at Adams Park.
