Wycombe striker Scott McGleish has been fined following his reaction to being substituted during Saturday's goalless draw at home to Brentford.
The 34-year-old was unhappy at being replaced in the 58th minute.
Chairboys manager Peter Taylor told the club's official website: "I don't want to see a reaction like that from any of my players.
"It's a squad who get success - not just 11 players. If it means making a change, then so be it."
McGleish was last season's leading scorer, but Taylor said the striker was upset with how the Bees game had gone.
"It's my job to make substitutions and I don't expect a reaction like that when someone is substituted," added Taylor.
"I have spoken with Scott, and he has apologised and said the reason was frustration with the way he played."
