Wycombe have signed Plymouth striker Reuben Reid on a season-long loan. The 19-year-old has only started one league game for Argyle, but gained experience on loan at Kidderminster, Rochdale and Torquay last season.
"He played on the right of midfield against us in the Carling Cup last month," Wanderers boss Paul Lambert told his club's website.
"But his real position is up front. I know Plymouth see him as a big prospect - we're delighted to get him."
However, he insisted the deal was not linked to Plymouth's attempts to sign highly-rated Wycombe striker Jermaine Easter.
