The 25-year-old former Scotland Under-21 international came through the youth system at Tannadice and played more than 200 games for the Terrors.

Wycombe boss Paul Lambert told his club's website: "We originally tried to get David in January when we knew he would be leaving Dundee United.

"He regained his place in their team but we realised we had to be patient and now we have got our man."
