Johnson would have been a free agent in the summer |
Wycombe Wanderers have completed the signing of Darlington striker Simon Johnson for an undisclosed fee. The 23-year-old's contract with the Quakers was due to expire at the end of the season.
And he has now signed a two-and-a-half year deal that will keep him at Wanderers until the summer of 2009.
Johnson told the Wycombe website: "It has been a quick move for me. When the opportunity came I was more than happy to talk and I'm delighted to be here."
