Wycombe have named striker Tommy Mooney as their new captain. The 34-year-old skippered the side in Wednesday's 3-2 pre-season friendly defeat against Watford.
Wycombe manager Paul Lambert told BBC Three Counties Radio: "Tommy has been terrific and although he is getting on a bit he is a big player for us.
"He will be our captain next season and shows great enthusiasm for the game which will rub off on other players, he has done great for us so far."
