Ryan has decided to call time on his playing career |
Stalwart Keith Ryan has decided to hang up his boots after 16 years at Wycombe because of problems with his knees. The 35-year-old has not played for Wycombe's first team since April 2005 because of a serious knee injury.
Ryan has made over 517 appearances for Wycombe and now forms part of the management team with boss John Gorman and assistant Steve Brown.
"My knee doesn't react too badly when I'm playing but it's the aftermath of that. I struggle the next day."
