Mike Williamson is set to make his loan at Wycombe permanent
Williamson impressed during his loan spell at Wycombe
Wycombe Wanderers have agreed a deal with Southampton to make defender Mike Williamson's loan spell permanent.

The 21-year-old, who has spent most of the season on loan at the Causeway Stadium, joined Saints for 100,000 from Torquay in November 2001.

He will join on a free transfer, which will include a sell-on clause, after completing personal terms.

Boss John Gorman told Wycombe's website: "It's dragged on, but we've got our man and it's great news."
