Blues Square Premier side Wrexham fought out a hard-earned draw with Championship club Preston.
Dean Saunders' virus-hit squad took the lead after just five minutes when defender Mansour Assoumani headed home Silvio Spann's corner.
While the home side had the better of the first half, Preston were stronger in the second.
And the visitors were level when Richard Chaplow headed home Chris Sedgwick's cross at the near post.
There was concern for striker Marc Williams who had to leave the field on 15 minutes after a heavy tackle.
However, an X-ray revealed that there is no break and no further damage on the metatarsal injury he suffered five months ago.
