Wrexham and Ebbsfleet meet on Tuesday in an FA Trophy fourth-round replay at Stonebridge Road following this poor encounter at the Racecourse.
The Dragons were unable to repeat their 3-2 Blue Square Premiership win of 13 September.
Wrexham's Jefferson Louis spurned an early chance and neither side impressed in front of goal.
Debut-making French defender Aurelien Collin was sent off for a foul after 66 minutes.
Wrexham manager Dean Saunders:"We're still in the hat and that's the only thing to come out of that.

"That's as poor as we've been since I've been here... I made some changes for the right reasons but those who came in struggled.
"The players have a job description and not one of them can go home and say they've done it.
"The pitch is a problem for us with a team of footballers, it suits a team of hammer throwers.
"The referee... how do I say it without getting into trouble? The crowd were laughing, that about sums it up. They were beyond booing."
