Little says he understands fans' frustrations and hoped his players would have fared better in their final home appearance of the season.
He said: "If anybody wants to judge me on this performance I have to accept that.
"But we are now relegated to the conference and have a group of players have a group of players who, when they get a kick in the teeth, tend to just roll over.
"We wanted the young players to sign off with a decent result at home, but once again they fell down the trap of making very elementary mistakes.
"After the first goal we lost our confidence and we told them at half time we understood that was happening, but their fans and everyone else were looking for them to pull their sleeves up and looking for them to show that they were men.
"We know they're boys, but you've got to get out there and if you show them that, they'd appreciate it."
