"I thought the game was dead. We were comfortable and dealing quiet well with everything they threw at us," he said.

"Then the sending off completely changed the game. Robbie was trying to get out of the clutches of the goalkeeper who has grabbed on to him.

"But the referee decides to book Robbie and that gave them the impetus."
