Wrexham have completed the loan signing of 26-year-old Port Vale defender Richard Walker. Vale manager Martin Foyle has released Christian Smith on loan to Northwich and Walker to Wrexham, where he will remain until the end of the season.
The Dragons received the required international clearance on Thursday.
And Carlisle's Anthony Williams, a former Wales Under-21 goalkeeper, has also signed on loan until the end of the season.
Robbie Garrett is the latest Wrexham player ruled out of Saturday's match at Bristol Rovers, bringing the running total to five.
The on-loan Stoke midfielder, 18, has been included in the Northern Ireland Under-21 squad for Saturday's friendly against Romania.
The Dragons will also be without goalkeeper Mike Ingham (hamstring).
Defenders Ryan Valentine, Steve Evans and Lee Roche plus striker Chris Llewellyn are all also out of Brian Carey's team, the four suspended.
