Jones has scored seven goals for Wrexham this season |
Wrexham midfielder Mark Jones will be sidelined for at least six weeks after learning he needs surgery on a persistent knee injury. Jones had an inconclusive scan last week, but a specialist has recommended surgery to repair the cartlidge.
The 22-year-old Wales international had a similar operation over the summer, but was fit to start in the first match of the season.
But the latest setback is set to see Jones missing over 10 games.
