Chris Llewellyn rejoins Wrexham after a season with Hartlepool

Pejic, 23, agreed a 12-month contract extension on Friday, while Llewellyn, 26, has signed a two-year deal.

Llewellyn first arrived at the Racecourse Ground in July 2003, but was sold to Hartlepool two years later.

But the four-times capped Wales man has had a second year of his contract with Hartlepool cancelled by mutual consent.

Llewellyn played just 24 league games for 'Pool, who were relegated to League Two at the end of last season and was deemed surplus by new boss Danny Wilson.

"It's good to be back," Llewellyn told the club website.

"I would though like to assure fans that I'm coming back to help the club win promotion.

"I wouldn't be returning if I didn't believe we had a good chance this season."

Pejic, whose father Mel is the Wrexham physio, has been with the north Wales club since 1999.

"I'm looking forward to the new campaign," Pejic said.

"The boss is looking at several formations for next season and defensively I can adapt to whatever he wants.

"We went close last year (to promotion), but not close enough - hopefully it will be different this time."
