Jones is seen as one of the hottest properties in League Two |
Ex-Wales Under-21 and senior squad midfielder Mark Jones has signed a 12 month contract extension at Wrexham. The 22-year-old was the club's top scorer with 16 last season and is regarded as one of the hottest properties in League Two.
Defender Danny Williams, 26, has also signed a new two-year deal.
Manager Denis Smith, who says Jones' signing is "superb news", expects to announce at least one new arrival at the Racecourse on Friday.
He told BBC Sport Wales that he is still in the dark over striker Jon Walters' expected move to Chester.
