Wrexham have released Jim Whitley, Dean Bennett, Dave Bayliss and Alex Smith. Both Whitley and fellow midfielder Bennett in particular have suffered with injuries.
After Wrexham's financial problems, only four players are currently under contract: Darren Ferguson, Dennis Lawrence, Mark Jones and Mike Ingham.
But with the club now set to come out of administration next month, manager Denis Smith will be hoping to start serious planning for next season.
The Dragons are currently in negotiations to keep Andy Holt, Danny Williams, Jon Walters, Lee McEvilly, Lee Roche, Matt Crowell, Shaun Pejic, Levi Mackin and Simon Spender at the club.
One new arrival is TNS central defender Steve Evans, who will arrive at the Rcecourse Ground on a free transfer at the beginning of next month.
